To united people and resources of Western Nebraska to build a stronger,

fund raising activities with proceeds to be distributed to area
health & human service agencies

funds to are health & human service agencies in a fair manner

volunteer services within Western Nebraska

community planning efforts to enhance area health & human service

educational opportunities which enhance and support area health
& human service agencies
- To maintain
appropriate practices and procedures within the United Way of
Western Nebraska organization

evaluate processes to determine effectiveness of activities.

RIGHTS
- You have
the right to know our mission and purpose and to become a member
of our organization if you so choose
- You have
the right to know our officers and members of the Board of Directors
and to expect that they act with the greatest integrity and clear-sightedness
in enforcing the organization's mission and purpose for the best
interest of the community
- You have
the right to ask and receive a copy of our annual financial statement
- You have
the right to confidentiality regarding personal information about
donors and facts about their donations
- You have
the right to expect that all relationships between the organization's
representatives and the donor will be professional in nature
- You have
the right to know how donations are distributed, and to be assured
that United Way uses donated funds as intended
- You have
the right to be treated with consideration and respect by the
organization and to receive the appropriate acknowledgment and
recognition
- You have
the right to expect that United Way will not share or sell donor
information at any time

the right to ask questions of us and expect to receive a prompt,
truthful and complete answer.
