will be held on Sept. 20, 2008.

Ducks are now on sale at any sponsor location. Ducks are only $5 each, $25 for a Quack Sack- including 5 ducks in the race, coupons to 18 local businesses and a souvenir duck, or you can purchase 13 ducks for the price of 12 for only $60. There are 20 Quacktacular prizes to win so buy your ducks today.

The Duck Dash will be held at the Trails West YMCA Camp by the North Platte River behind the Riverside Zoo. Beginning at 7:30 a.m. with a 5K Walk/Run sponsored by Valley Bank & Trust Co., then at 9:00 a.m. there will be lots of fun, free activities for the entire family right up until the Duck Dash at 10:30 a.m. This is a fantastic event for all ages to enjoy that benefits the United Way of Western Nebraska!

2007 Duck Dash Highlights
  The 10th Annual United Way of Western Nebraska Rubber Duck Dash was a HUGE success! This year 15,281 ducks were bought! That's 2,086 more ducks than were sold in 2006! Thank you to everyone who bought ducks and supported United Way of Western Nebraska. All of the ducks raced to the finish line and the first 20 were awarded the following prizes.
