OFFICIAL RULES & REGULATIONS

As established by the United Way of Western Nebraska, herein
referred to as “United Way,” the following rules and regulations are
hereby adopted to benefit the following 501 (c) (3) organization:
United Way of Western Nebraska, TAX ID #35-000813206

1. The entry portion of each duck permit must be completely filled out,
delivered and received with the appropriate fee to the United Way office
no later than 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2008, or completely
filled out, delivered and received to the Official Rubber Duck Dash Entry
Desk at the race site on Saturday, September 20, 2008, by 10:00 a.m.
Depending on availability, ducks will be sold until Saturday, September 20, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. or until all ducks are sold, whichever comes first.

2. Ducks will be launched in the North Platte River (location to be
announced) at approximately 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 20, 2008.

3. If the race cannot be held that day, due to foul weather or lack of river
water due to drought, there will be a drawing held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 20, 2008, at the Trails West YMCA Camp parking lot to determine the winners.

4. A random number will be assigned and attached to each duck by United Way. Multiple duck entries from one ticket will be assigned additional, random numbers for identification.

5. Once the Ducks are launched, there will be no attempt to free or
interfere with any duck while the race is in progress.

6. The persons’ names who appear on the entry tickets corresponding to
the first ducks in order from 1 through 20 to the finish line through the duck trap will be awarded the Rubber Duck Prizes.

7. The winners will be announced immediately following the race at the
finish line location. Winners need not be present to win. If the winner
does not claim his/her prize from the United Way within 90 days after the
race date, the prize is forfeited and will be turned over to the United Way.

8. The first duck to reach the finish line through the duck trap will be the
Grand Prize Winner.

9. The person’s name that appears on the entry ticket corresponding to
the first duck to cross the finish line will be awarded the Grand Prize,
which is a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado donated by TEAM Chevrolet and
Target. The winner of the Grand Prize must provide all necessary Federal and State tax reporting information before receiving the prize. All local, state and federal taxes, fees and licenses are the winner’s responsibility. The winner will also be financially responsible for the removal of any decals associated with the Rubber Duck Dash. The Grand Prize may not be exchanged for cash or another vehicle or other prize without the consent and agreement of TEAM Chevrolet and United Way of Western Nebraska as to the terms of any such exchange. Any exchange for cash, if consented to, will be for and amount less than the retail value of the vehicle which amount will be determined by TEAM Chevrolet in its sole discretion. By accepting the Grand Prize, the winner agrees to release and hold harmless United Way and TEAM Chevrolet and all their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability for an injury, loss or damage of any kind to persons and property, arising directly or indirectly, from or in connection with acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize.

10. If a minor wins the Grand Prize, a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado, the
transfer of the Grand Prize will be made to a conservator for the minor or
a custodian for the minor, under the Uniform Transfers to Minors Act
before the car can be claimed.

11. No cash equivalent prizes will be provided in lieu of designated prizes by United Way.

12. The following people are not eligible: Staff members of the United Way of Western Nebraska and/or spouses, United Way of Western Nebraska Board of Directors and/or spouses.

13. Chances of winning depend on the total number of qualified entries.

14. This event is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.

15. The conduct of the race and determination of winners will be the
responsibility of the United Way. United Way will make all decisions and
interpretations of these rules and its decisions will be final.
