STUFF THE BUS
Many children and youth in our community are in need of school supplies throughout the entire school year. During our annual Stuff the Bus, school supplies are gathered and delivered to many area schools including Scottsbluff, Gering, Mitchell, Morrill, Minatare, Bridgeport, Harrisburg, Hemingford and Alliance. Area educators tell us that the need for supplies year round is great. It’s amazing how a new backpack or school supplies can improve the self esteem of a school-age child. Please consider helping us help them!

FAMILYWIZE PHARMACY PROGRAM
This year United Way will be able to distribute free (and at no cost to UW) prescription drug discount cards to the community. These cards will help reduce the cost of medicine for people struggling with this issue.

Day of Caring

Day of Caring is a unique opportunity for volunteers throughout the community to come together and lend their help to various projects organized by United Way of Western Nebraska. Throughout an entire day, volunteers work to help those individuals and agencies in our community that are in need of minor repair, cleaning, painting, etc. More than 100 people give their time and energy to this worthwhile event!
