12th Annual Golf Tournament

Sponsored by the Star-Herald

The 12th Annual United Way of Western Nebraska Golf Tournament, sponsored by The Star-Herald was held on June 1, 2009 at the Scotts Bluff Country Club.  On a beautiful Nebraska Spring, 31 teams enjoyed a fun tournament!  Lunch was provided by Runza at check-in and everyone dined on a delicious dinner in the clubhouse sponsored by Super 8, Lamplighter American Inn, America's Best Value Inn, and Comfort Inn!

Embarq generously donated a Masek Golf Cart to be given away to a lucky player.  That lucky winner was Doug Rupp, pictured here with Steve Rumple and Tim Daniels from Embarq.
